HDM is a leading enterprise in the development and manufacturing of large submerged arc furnaces in China, having supplied over 500 units to domestic and international customers, including numerous EPC projects. Their product range primarily includes calcium carbide furnaces, manganese alloy furnaces, chromium alloy furnaces, nickel alloy furnaces, ferrosilicon furnaces, and industrial silicon furnaces. To date, HDM has developed and produced submerged arc furnaces with capacities ranging from 6.3 to 60 MVA and has also made technological advancements for 70 to 120 MVA submerged arc furnaces.
Calcium carbide furnace is the primary equipment for producing calcium carbide. HDM serves as the Vice Chairman Unit of the China Calcium Carbide Industry Association and is the drafter of the industry standard JB/T 12496 – Calcium Carbide Furnace. The product line includes models with capacities of 25.5MVA, 30MVA, 40.5MVA, and 60MVA.
The series nickel alloy furnace is essential for the RKEF pyrometallurgy process. The nickel alloy furnace developed and manufactured by HDM is fully enclosed. The high-energy coal gas produced is directed to the baking kiln to replace part of the fuel, while the tail gas from the baking kiln is used in the drying kiln to dry wet ore. This process is efficient, energy-saving, low-carbon, and environmentally friendly.
The series chromium alloy furnace is critical for ferrochromium smelting. HDM can customize chromium alloy furnaces based on three different technical routes: SRC (Solid State Reduction of Chrome-ore), rotary shaft furnace oxidation pellet, and furnace top preheating kiln. This ensures the establishment of the optimal process route tailored to the customer’s project requirements.
The series manganese alloy furnace is a key piece of equipment for manganese alloy smelting. HDM is the creator of the industry standard JB/T 12497 – Manganese Silicon Furnace and has supplied over 60 manganese alloy furnaces to domestic and international customers since 2005, demonstrating outstanding performance in the electric furnace industry.
Both the ferrosilicon furnace and industrial silicon furnace are of the semi-closed type. HDM has produced more than 20 sets of ferrosilicon and industrial silicon furnaces, with capacities ranging from 12.5MVA to 60MVA.
Dedicated to providing the global customers with solutions to major equipment and full-life-cycle services.
