The hot iron mixing car is a specialized metallurgical vehicle used to transport hot iron from the blast furnace to the converter shop, pig casting machine shop, or ingot casting shop for tilting operations. HDM’s 200t-450t torpedo cars and tubular hot iron mixing cars hold 95% of the market share and have been exported to countries such as Japan, the USA, India, Turkey, Brazil, Vietnam, and Algeria.

The hot iron ladle is a fundamental tool for iron smelting production and is a long-standing product of HDM, with capacities ranging from 120t to 417t. Over the decades, HDM has supplied thousands of ladles to both domestic and international steel plants, with its products present in all major domestic steel and iron enterprises and exported to Southeast Asia, Japan, the Netherlands, the UK, Mexico, and more.

The under-converter vehicle is used for transporting hot metal ladles between working positions under the converter in steel plants. HDM has delivered tens of thousands of various types of metallurgical vehicles for 350t converters and 150t furnaces to both domestic and overseas steel plants, with its products found in all major domestic steel and iron enterprises, and exports to Southeast Asia, Japan, the USA, and beyond. HDM has a strong reputation for under-converter vehicle development in China.

The “all-in-one-ladle” equipment includes under-converter vehicles, hot iron ladles, molten steel ladles, and ladle tilting devices. This full-process equipment was developed by HDM by analyzing the new processes and constraints in steel plants, using cutting-edge knowledge of China’s steel and iron-making industry.
