Large marine low-speed crankshaft

Large marine crankshafts are crucial components of marine engines and essential for large vessels. HDM produces half-built-up crankshafts for MAN series 50–108 and Wartsila series 52–96 marine low-speed diesel engines, with a designed production capacity of 150 large crankshafts per year. HDM has achieved localization of these crankshafts, addressing the bottleneck issue that previously hindered the development of China’s shipbuilding industry, thereby contributing to its advancement.

Detailed introduction

MAN is a renowned company in the development and manufacture of marine low-speed diesel engines globally. The crankshaft is the core component of these engines, specifically referred to as the MAN series crankshaft. HDM can produce half-built-up crankshafts for MAN series 50–108 marine low-speed diesel engines.

Wartsila is also a prominent company in the marine low-speed diesel engine sector. The crankshaft in Wartsila’s low-speed diesel engines is known as the Wartsila series crankshaft. HDM is capable of producing half-built-up crankshafts for Wartsila series 52–96 marine low-speed diesel engines.
