Gantry crane for hydropower stations is a multi-functional crane that operates on the dam top or tail platform of hydropower dams. It is used for opening, closing, or handling various gates such as the generator inlet gate, emergency service gate at the flush bottom outlet, trash rack, and plain gate for flood discharge.
